Why we take photos

Photos and videos help celebrate the achievements of our dancers and promote future events. We always handle them sensitively and respectfully.

Consent

• We only use identifiable images of children with parental or guardian consent.

• Consent is collected during the entry process and can be withdrawn at any time by emailing caldervalleydancefestival@gmail.com.

Use of images

Images may appear:

• On our website or social media pages.

• In printed programmes, posters, or local news features.

We will never share full names alongside photos without explicit permission.

Photography by parents

Parents and teachers may only take personal photos or videos only if:

• There is NOT an official photographer in attendance.

• It does not distract performers or obstruct others.

• Images are for private, non-commercial use.

• No other children appear without their parents’ consent.

Official festival photographers will always be clearly identified.
